Lauryn Simas
Founder and Principal Designer
Lauryn is the Founder and Principal Designer. She resides in the DFW metroplex with her husband, 3 kiddos (and a few more on the way at some point). She loves the Lord with all her heart because she deeply believes it is He who gave her the gift to see the world through His eyes - a world of beauty and potential. She has a deep respect and adoration for nature, and it inspires her creative use of color and neutrals in every space. She has a bent toward European style with Scandinavian/Danish design.
Lauryn has loved making spaces look beautiful since she was a little girl. She constantly rearranged her room from the time she could stand and was always designing homes on her computer growing up. She even went as far as selecting furniture for imaginary families. Wood shop was her favorite class in high school, and her love for this industry and way of viewing the world eventually led to her getting an Interior Design degree from the Art Institute of Dallas.
In her spare time, she makes it a priority to garden, hike, rest, lead a group of like-minded homeschool mommas, and serve at her church.
At the end of the day, she would love nothing more than to have people walk into their space and feel the presence of God. Every item in the space, every piece of decor, the textures on furniture pieces, the overall design and layout - it all matters; every detail is important to her and to God. They all come together to make a calming space full of joy, healing, rest, freedom and creativity.

Lauryn Simas Designs is a Dallas-Fort Worth, TX based interior design studio focused on residential and commercial design, specializing in high-end remodels and new builds. By bringing creative sophistication, clean lines and a timeless feel into the design, we make creating your home or commercial space a rewarding process, free of stress and confusion. We believe it should be an opportunity to not only dream, but create a unique space that's a source of joy and excellence. We understand the importance of proactive communication, space planning, and being detail oriented. We work closely with architects, contractors and skilled trades people, handling everything from whole-house renovations or single room designs, to large commercial spaces or boutique retail spots.
